I was bringing a friend home from a physical rehab center where she was recovering from surgery. We stopped at a nearby CVS and found out we had to wait an hour for a prescription. My friend was dying to get out after being cooped up for about a month, so we walked down the street and found Ember and Ash. It was a busy Saturday evening and we didn't have a reservation. The hostess, Lulu, was so helpful. She made sure we had a table where my friend was comfortable. I was trying to order and get out in a hurry because they had reservations but Lulu came over to tell us we had about 1 1/2 hours before the table was reserved. We were two seniors in what seems a trendy spot and Lulu went out of her way to make us feel at home. After a very difficult day, Ember and Ash was exactly what we needed to wind down. Did I forget to mention the food? We were too tired to think so we both ordered burgers. They come with gruyere and caremelized onions. The onions were carmelized to a perfect sweetness to pair with the salty sharpness of the cheese. The patty was delicious and perfectly cooked. It was a nice change to be able to order the doneness we each prefer rather than the ubiquitous overdone smashburger that so many restaurants have started serving, probably to save on the cost of meat since they're thin. The fries were outstanding! The menu has so many interesting choices. My friend and I both plan to go back to sample some of their more intersting dishes!

Still amazing! Great staff, and delicious food! We love it here! Stopped in for dinner while in the city for a concert. What a fun and unique experience! Everything in the restaurant from food to cocktails is at least touched by the wood stove. We had cocktails (charcoal smoked old fashioned), Octopus, a beef shin, and charcoal cooked potatoes with spicy chili aoli. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent as well. Definitely put this place on your list!

My husband and I had a late dinner here. We did have reservations, but there was no wait. We sat outside and had great service. We had the octopus tostada for our starter. It was on the smaller side and honestly the least exciting part of our dinner. We had the scarpinocc which was delicious. It was different than something we would normally pick, but it was very good. Then we had the lamb ribs which was also delicious! Food was great, portions were a little smaller but it was still worth it. We also had the charcoal old fashion and the pickle beet martini!! Yummy!

You can’t go wrong with Ember & Ash. This restaurant is far from your every day flavor. The food is out of this world, cooked with love, and made to perfection. These are a few of my takes on my favorites (brunch version); Roasted Broccoli, an absolute must! The favor and crunch is something that I cannot even put into words, it’s simply delicious. Pair that with some of the charred mushrooms and the grilled avocado, and you have the perfect combo. (You’ll want a second avocado). Chicken liver mousse is not only beautiful to the eye, it’s also incredible! Everything is different from the next but at the same time pairs so well with one another. A good burger is always my first choice- and ember&ash’s hits the spot. The flavor is spectacular, the juices, the bun, the extra toppings- it’s delicious! Pair that with a waxing moon, and I’d say you’re going to be off to a good start! You can feel the love in the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant. The food is curated perfectly, and the effort to make it delicious and loved- shows. Along with the chefs and staff, everyone was engaging and pleasant- consistent and attentive! I’ll be back, and I’ve already spread the word on this incredible restaurant, and they’re newly offered weekend brunch. It’s worth the trip, and trust me- you’ll agree!

Shared dinner at the bar. The drinks were fantastic, even though we opted for zero proof for the night. We shared a few rounds of food. We started with the charcuterie board. Great blend of flavors with the toast finished over the flames. Then we enjoyed broccoli and wings followed by lobster risotto. The service was well timed and thoughtful.

Ember and Ash is such an incredible spot! Whether coming in for bites and sips for happy hour (great N/A cocktails too!) or for a special group dinner I have always had the best time. The service is warm and friendly and the food is incredible. Can tuck in to some delicious wings while watching the game or have a multi course extravaganza of flavors and delicious plates with beef shin, homemade pastas, octopus etc. it’s perfect for any occasion! Truly fantastic all around.
